Specially for this event, the women’s department on the 2nd floor welcomes Château Rouge as an exclusive. The label is upending traditional African wax clothing and giving it a resolutely urban feel.
As for menswear, LAURENCE AIRLINE is setting up its pop-up store on the 2nd floor, from 2nd April until 27th June: traditional and technical materials, precise and fluid cuts, minimal and multi-faceted items…Pieces that have been designed and created between Europe and Africa and which carry the spirit of travel within them.

MAX MARA WEEKEND

Furla presents “Pop-up Africa”, an exclusive capsule collection that will take you on an imaginary safari, into an unexpected world of greenery, flowers, colours and animals.
The new collection, influenced by the African continent, also includes seven exclusive bags for Galeries Lafayette, on display in the windows as well as the pop-up store.

Born online in 2012, today Rad is the leading online streetwear brand. For the Africa Now operation, the brand is diving into African culture with a capsule collection in collaboration with Galeries Lafayette.
Taking ethnic inspiration, the collection reinterprets the codes of afro street-art with nods to several strong references such as hairstyles. In terms of patterns, wax and khanga themes provide a graphic, colourful style.
The result? Bright pieces that reveal the exoticism and joy of Africa.
