Founded more than 10 years ago, Flyin’Chef is a Caen based company specialized in the creation of tailor made culinary events showcasing french gastronomic heritage with a focus on Normandy. In that view, Flyin’Chef offers you cooking around an entertaining, exclusive, original and memorable experience. For each event, Flyin’Chef settles in a place of your choice, developing a real culinary world thanks to its mobile kitchens. From thematic cooking classes to culinary happenings at a party, or shows performed by Chefs, each event is unique and showcases French and Normandy gastronomy.
As part of the operation « Normandie Cherie », Flyin’Chef asked its chefs to revisit some spécialities from Normandy heritage, creating recipes for you to discover during culinary gourmet workshops !
You will be able to :
- Rediscover “Madeleines Jeannette”, whose company came back in 2015. You will fill the madeleine with summery flavors, like lemon, raspberry and pears.
- Borrow its famous tiramisu to Italy, reinterpreted around Pommeau-soaked biscuits, a caramel cream and a brunoise of salted butter apples.
- Deepen your knowledge of two of the famous PDO cheeses of the region, with a Camembert stuffed with dried fruits, served on a mesclun with apples and,
- Appreciate the special texture of the teurgoule, served in aumonieres filled with candied pears.
