For Autumn – Winter 2017-2018,
Maison Kitsuné presents “Team Spirit”, a capsule collection inspired by American football.
MAISON KITSUNÉ, BETWEEN MODERNITY AND IMPERTINENCE
Launched in 2002 by co-founders and artistic directors Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, following a trip to Japan which inspired them to bring their passions together within a single entity: this gave birth to a multi-faceted structure, unique in its kind, that merges fashion and music. The name “Kitsuné”, which means “fox” in Japanese and symbolizes versatility, seemed an obvious choice.
Season after season this brand paints a contemporary vision of fashion, influenced by trends in Paris and Tokyo, with a touch of cheek. Whilst reinterpreted classics give the collections a timeless dimension, the bold mix of colours, prints and materials, anchor them firmly in the here and now.
“TEAM SPIRIT” COLLECTION
The “Team Spirit” collection reveals preppy, college-inspired silhouettes, in shades of red, white and blue. The look is chic and sporty, with a touch of nonchalance.
The red cotton logo sweater is striking over a white shirt along with red woolen, star-patterned suit trousers. The men’s light blue cotton shirt is embroidered with football helmets.
Two-tone logo t-shirts look great combined with a full denim look. The brand’s iconic emblem since the beginning, the fox proudly appears on sweatshirts wearing the “Maison Kitsuné” football helmet sporting the number 08.
Available from 15th November, on the 1st floor of l’Homme.
