Galeries Lafayette capsule collection

From 5 July

Another way to celebrate French creation is by dressing in Galeries Lafayette’s own brand.

Notably featuring sports team sweatshirts and stripy Breton tops, this third collection made entirely in Troyes is an ode to the origins of French chic and a tribute to the great sporting events that bring people together.

Available in women’s and men’s versions, these exclusive, limited-edition items form part of Galeries Lafayette’s Go For Good selection, which promotes a more sustainable approach to fashion.

Founded in 2019 by Emma Reynaud, Marcia pays tribute to women’s sensuality with timeless, figure-hugging day and evening designs that combine comfort with show-stopping sex appeal
to help women feel strong, free and unique. A responsible brand, Marcia supports French and European production and works exclusively with natural, recycled or upcycled materials.

The Officine Générale story began in 2012 when founder Pierre Mahéo decided to share his vision of contemporary French fashion. The brand combines high-quality fabrics, top-notch tailoring and attention to detail to create practical, elegant essentials for everyday wear, season after season.

Under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, Carven is constantly evolving. Today, its women’s ready-to-wear collection comprises simple, sophisticated looks that draw inspiration from menswear and reflect pride in the brand’s history and heritage. Concerned about its environmental impact, Carven opts for natural and sustainable materials and creates
reduced collections to avoid oversupply.

This fashion house founded by Jean Patou has been daring women to dream since 1914. Now under the artistic direction of Guillaume Henry, Patou proposes fun-yet-refined pieces that are easy to wear. With a festive feel and a touch of nostalgia, the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection is a celebration of the female form and an invitation to hit the dance floor.

With its feminine, free-spirited vibe and bold, sexy looks that sublimate the silhouette, Rouje is the Parisian brand for women with character.

Created by Jeanne Damas in 2016, the brand is mindful of its carbon footprint and primarily produces its collections in Europe.

Ten years on, the brand continues to pursue its objective of being ever more responsible, while maintaining its commitment to aesthetics. Every article from MaisonCléo is handmade-to-order in France, using vintage clothes or surplus fabrics from French factories and fashion houses. Rather than following fads that come and go, MaisonCléo stays faithful to its own philosophy, taking a more sustainable approach to fashion thanks to looks that never go out of date.

In just ten years, Balibaris has become the go-to brand for men who prefer discreet, timeless elegance. Easy-to-wear, the label’s line-up includes everything a man needs in his wardrobe, primarily produced in Europe as part of the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

Made in France using ethical, responsible production methods, Maison Les Dames’ gender-free designs revisit workwear basics with a subtle modern twist. Its signature pieces and latest collaborations position the brand as a fully-fledged member of the French Touch new guard.

A long-standing partner to France’s sporting teams, Le Coq Sportif is once again dressing French athletes in 2024, supplying their presentation, training and competition outfits.

To celebrate, the brand has released a capsule collection comprising official Team France and Paris 2024 products.

To celebrate France’s culinary know-how, Galeries Lafayette’s Paris Haussmann store is shining a spotlight on today’s most creative Parisian caterer: Tableaux Paris.

Passionate about food, flowers and table presentation, Tom – the founder of Tableaux Paris – offers unique buffets and platters designed to please the eye as well as the palate. Delightful and delicious, his creations feature fresh flowers and top-quality seasonal foods and are packaged in plastic-free, recyclable containers.

The Cahu brand came about because founder Clémence Cahu had a soft spot for a sturdy material: PVC fabric. Bringing together bold colours and durable designs, her tote bags combine elegance with practical expertise. Made by leather goods specialists in an artisan workshop, these stylish, robust bags can now be found at Galeries Lafayette’s Paris Haussmann store.

Souvenirs

After celebrating its 90th anniversary with Galeries Lafayette in 2023, Air France has again chosen to offer its range of lifestyle objects at the quintessential Parisian department store.
Model planes and the airline’s beach, 90th anniversary and red, white & blue collections will be available from June, giving visitors the opportunity to get the full French Touch experience.
