One collection, two moods

For the pop-up, Marimekko presents its Fall/Winter 2025 ready-to-wear collection that draws inspiration from the dual moods of winter, combining monochromatic tones of darkening winter nights with an interjection of joy through color. The collection was first previewed at Copenhagen Fashion Week and took place at the former terminal building of Copenhagen airport.
A Celebration of Floral Prints

The Fall/Winter collection explores finalizes Marimekko’s over-arching conceptual theme of 2025 : The Anatomy of a Flower, which celebrates some of the lesser-known floral prints from Marimekko’s print archive while also highlighting fresh floral designs by a new generation of print designers. The collection references the idea of nature losing its vivid colors as temperatures grow colder whilst indoor flowers continue to bloom bright.
Contrasting shades in a refined palette
The collection brings a soothing palette of pale blues, cocoa browns, deep greys, spruce green and rich purple to meet with contrasting tones of scarlet red, blush pink and spearmint in utilitarian shirts, pleated woven dresses and tops, mini and maxi dresses, playful skirts, and premium knits. Textured materials, such as bouclé and mouliné add an element of craft and natural surface against the crispness of cotton, cupro and other softer materials of the season.
