When I was a teenager, my mum would take me to “Galeries” as a bit of a morale boost. And it certainly did the trick! Which is not surprising – slipping into something new never fails to lift your spirits.

And now, all these years later, I get a call from Galeries Lafayette… Sure, I’d love to talk about the power of “allure”! Sure, I’d love to relive the excitement and fun of trying on clothes in this fabulous setting! It’s all still there, perfectly intact – in the pleasure of browsing around the store, in the thrill of finding the right jacket or spotting the perfect shade of green, in the affinity among fellow shoppers, or when the sales advisor explains how to wear a weird pussy-cat bow, or you
pop up the collar of a trench coat before checking out your look in the mirror. 

Shopping puts a smile on your face. So, come on. Follow me!
