Delvaux was founded in Brussels in 1829 by Charles Delvaux. It has held the title of Official Supplier to the Belgian Court since 1883, a role it still occupies today.
Delvaux sees the handbag as a sculpture and excels in the creation of structured forms, combining complex manufacturing techniques with real precision. Le Brillant – its iconic bag since 1958 – is made up of sixty-four separate leather pieces. Only the most beautiful skins are used for this bag, meticulously selected from the finest tanneries in France and Italy. Delvaux is also renowned for its unexpected use of exotic and rare leathers, such as alligator, crocodile, python, ostrich and lizard.
