To showcase the French Touch of today and tomorrow, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is delighted to invite Parisian fashion house AMI Paris to to create a progressive itinerary, halfway between the seaside and the Seine, starting in the streets of Paris and ending with a grand finale on the roof of the city.

AMI Paris was founded in the French capital in 2011 and has been infused with the Parisian spirit ever since. The brand’s name plays on founder and creative director Alexandre Mattiussi’s initials to form the French word for friend. And it takes a friendly, relaxed approach to luxury, with structured, everyday outfits – for women and men – that capture the simplicity and sophistication of Parisian chic.

AMI kicks off the Parisian summer with the launch of a capsule collection, La Plage AMI. It features a number of unisex ready-to-wear pieces and a range of accessories. The color theme consists of blue, white and red.

Short-sleeve shirts, windbreakers and shorts, cabas bags and beach towels, all feature one of the two tricolor stripe patterns of this collection specifically created for the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussman and exclusively sold at three AMI pop-up stores which will be located there. These pieces are complemented by boxy fit shirts, jumpers with trucker-style zip collars and jacquard socks in solid red, white, or blue shades — each adorned with a gray Ami de Coeur symbol.

This limited edition also includes other classic essentials, in black or white with the AMI logo. Fit t-shirts and hoodies, and black baseball caps and bucket hats, they will be available at the Galeries Lafayette pop ups and in AMI’s network of boutiques worldwide, as well as on its online shop at amiparis.com, galerieslafayette.com and at selected retailers.

The festivities continue with a distinctive summer-themed journey extending throughout the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. This fun and inclusive experience transports guests from the shop windows at street level to the rooftop terrace — an itinerary through the department store.

The capsule collection will be displayed in two shop windows of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from July 5th until August 28th , and a third one will be showcasing the Spring Summer 24 collection. It will be available for purchase in three pop-up stores, each housed in huts, inspired by the beach cabins of Deauville.

AMI’s summer itinerary, La Promenade d’AMI, will culminate above the city, on the terrace, leading to this open-air space, reminiscent of a seasidhasue promenade, lined with beach cabins and deckchairs in shades of white and blue, which will be open from July 3rd to September 2nd. Activities will include a recreational space, an AMI signage photo opportunity, and La Cabane featuring an ice cream parlour, drinks and a crêpe stand by chef Julien Sebbag — all while enjoying breathtaking 360-degree views of Paris.

A selection of lifestyle products will be available at a third pop-up on the roof: AMI-branded goodies will range from water bottles and playing cards, to pétanque balls and skittle games,

Women’s pop-up – Coupole Store (Lafayette door – ground floor), from 3 July to 2 September
Men’s pop-up – Men store (Atrium tower, 3rd floor), from 2 to 22 July
Huts and pop-ups Terrace – Rooftop, Coupole Store, from 3 July to 2 September
