Who can benefit from it ?
In order to benefit from the tax refund, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be a resident outside the European Union
- Be 16 years old or older
- Stay in the European Union for less than 6 months
- Have your original passport and, if required, a residence permit when creating your account
*Valid documents: Schengen visa, residence permits (green card, consular card, etc.). For dual-nationality customers, both passports are required.
Eligible purchases
- Purchases over €100 made in Galeries Lafayette Coupole, Men’s, Home & Gourmet and the Shopping and Welcome Center
- Purchases must be for personal use and fully paid for by the person named on the tax refund form
- Purchases of services and purchases made on galerieslafayette.com are excluded from the eligibility
- Products must be exported in their original packaging
Refund methods
- You have 3 days including your first day of purchase to scan all your original receipts
- The refund is only available on Bank card* (6 months validity)
*(last name & first name must match those on the passport)
