As the days grow longer and warmer, we begin to crave for a chance to reconnect with nature and the world around us. Galeries Lafayette is celebrating the arrival of spring, bringing nature back into the city and taking us on a journey of exploration with a radical but contemporary focus.
A creative vision of nature
Let’s go and explore! As part of Urban Nature, Galeries Lafayette asked German artist Timo Helgert and his agency Vacades to design a creative, digital experience. As part of a radical and contemporary approach, Timo Helgert has combined digital techniques, augmented reality and 3D design for a new take on urban greening.
Lush jungles and dreamy meadows have popped up beneath the dome of the Boulevard Haussmann store, creating a sense of hope and peace in a world hurtling forward at an ever-increasing pace.
