Father Christmas will be delighted to welcome young and old to the 5th floor of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from 9 December. Take your best photo and leave with an unforgettable souvenir of your meeting with Father Christmas.
This year, Santa’s studio is transformed into a unique living space for young and old alike. The space is designed to be magical, colourful, immersive and quite simply memorable.
Santa’s letterbox 💌
Ho, ho, ho! Children, while you’re waiting to meet Father Christmas, drop your list off in his Parisian letterbox. Every evening, his elves will come and collect your lists, heading for the North Pole workshops. His mission? To finish delivering your presents before the morning of 25 December.
The letterbox will be waiting for you right next to the central checkouts, from Wednesday 15 November to Wednesday 20 December!
Don’t forget to write your postal address on the back of your envelope so that Santa can get back to you.
Santa’s photo 📸
In a magical setting, find a unique space where a professional photographer will create a keepsake of your meeting with Father Christmas. A single photo will be taken and printed.
Meet Father Christmas:
- Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 December from 11am to 7pm.
- Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 December from 11am to 7pm.
- Sunday 24 December from 11am to 5pm.
The puppet factory 🎄
Exclusively at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, children will take part in a unique The Puppet Factory workshop. Supervised by our animator and around the flower island, children are invited to assemble their puppet inspired by the puppet in Charles de Vilmorin’s story.
Each child will be able to play the role of the little girl in the story and bring their own magical character to life in the department store. The puppets will all be personalised in the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann colours and will come with a hanging thread.
Each child will be given their own puppet to hang on their Christmas tree at home, continuing to share the story far beyond the shop walls.
The workshop is open:
- On the weekends of Saturday 09 and Sunday 10 December from 11am to 7pm.
- From 16 to 23 December from 11am to 7pm.
- 24 December from 11am to 5pm.
Mystery animation ✨
Get ready for an experience all about movement! Created for the whole family, live your star moment. You’re invited to join a podium, prepare your boldest pose, smile, and off you go for your moment in the limelight. The result is an animated gif with effects worthy of the red carpet.
This animation is available:
