The collection inspired by the iconic bag: the Premier Flirt
Since 1876, Maison LANCEL has embodied Parisian elegance—a French art de vivre where heritage, savoir-faire, and transmission come together. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, it unveils an anniversary collection centered on its iconic bag: the Premier Flirt. Born in 2006, this bucket bag with an asymmetrical pocket—free-spirited, Parisian, and slightly bold—has established itself as a signature of the House. For its 20th anniversary, the Premier Flirt is now adorned in LANCEL Red and is available in 15 exclusive editions, each subtly revealing one of the codes that make up the soul of the House.
15 silhouettes, 15 characters
Soft and enveloping, adventurous or graphic, each piece in the collection embodies a different facet of Parisian femininity. The Mon Chouchou invites tenderness with its plush materials; the Joséphine takes off in a movement of fringes; the Obsession pushes the signature detail to an obsessional level; the Multitasking reconciles daily functionality with style. So many personalities that coexist within the same collection, just as they do within the same wardrobe.

Archives as a source of inspiration
The anniversary capsule collection engages in a dialogue with the House’s history. Emblematic posters, vintage graphics, precious materials from the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré: LANCEL’s heritage is not frozen in time, it reinvents itself. La Favorite evokes seventies patchworks, Destination Cadeaux revisits the great classics, while Logo Mania proudly reclaims the House’s identity.

Savoir-faire celebrated in every stitch
Hand-braided leathers, artisanally painted gradients, precious skins, or unexpected textures: the 150-year capsule collection is above all a tribute to craftsmanship. Models such as the Aurore, the Tante Riche, or the Urban Flirt bear witness to the technical high standards that distinguish LANCEL—an excellence passed down for a century and a half, and still very much alive.
A LANCEL for everyone

“In Paris, I learned one thing: there isn’t a single French person who hasn’t owned, at least once, a LANCEL bag. Everyone owns a LANCEL. And everyone remembers it for their own personal reason. For many, it was an important gift, a first milestone, a moment in life that marks a before and an after. For others, it’s the bag that accompanies them to work every day, or the suitcase with which they made a thousand and one escapades outside of Paris—the one that has seen train stations and airports, witnessed quick transitions and decisive choices. It is a story that endures and never fades.”
