Self-Care Sunday at the beauty department
The 2,500 m² Beauty Department is located just under the beautiful dome. You will find all the iconic make-up and beauty brands. It’s an excellent opportunity to stock up on exclusive French products.
You can also induldge yourself in a unique experience at The Wellness Galerie. It is a new 3,000m² space located on the lower ground floor where you can receive beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures, eyebrow restructuring and blow-drying, as well as other wellness services such as yoga, fitness and massage.
A trendy stop at the fashion department
This incredible space features the major names in French and international fashion, as well as Galeries Lafayette’s own-brand collections for women, men and children.
Galeries Lafayette’s women’s fashion space is the world’s largest fashion collection: 15,000 m² displaying an extensive collection of 320 French and international brands.
When it comes to Paris and fashion, men are not left aside. The men’s fashion section has been revamped and Galeries Lafayette launched an impressive Galeries Lafayette Homme with four floors dedicated to men’s clothing, accessories, and grooming products. There are 500 fashion brands to choose from – 80 of which are exclusive to the store.
Children also have their own special fashion space with children designer’s clothes, ready-to-wear and shoes (for 0 to 16 years). Edgy parents can find some unique cutting-edge items at the Designer Lab. Launched a couple of years ago, the Lab is a signature program focusing on growing local fashion talents.
The huge toy section located on the 5th floor of the Dome building is children’s heaven and parent’s inspiration: wooden toys, creative, educational as well as building games (Lego etc.), all types of costumes and a large selection of books in the children’s library.
Last but not least, Galeries Lafayette has a nursery located in the childcare department where parents and mums-to-be can take a break. It is equipped with facilities such as changing tables, a micro-wave and feeding chair. While enjoying the view of the opera house, relax and let the kids run around!
The home department: Home Sweet Home
The Design and Home space has been completely redesigned in the style of a large house, and features all the latest trends in interior design. Through dedicated spaces, you can browse and choose from 190 different brands representing French Art de Vivre at its best, with inspiring design, lighting, household linens, furniture & interiors products.
The 3rd floor showcases the French Art de Vivre with welcoming dining tables, innovative and traditional kitchenware, tableware and cutlery. “Galerie des Grandes Tables”, Heritage Gallery both invite the visitors to discover the world of the Chefs and immerse into the French tradition of cooking. There is also a space dedicated to a guest that will change every 6 weeks.
The “Galerie des senteurs” offers a large selection of organic candles « Go For Good ». Go For Good is the store’s sustainability project. Launched in 2018, Go for Good promotes brands which have positive environmental impact, local produced products and social development.
Gourmet Sunday at Galeries Lafayette’s food market
Galeries Lafayette houses some of the most beautiful gastronomic houses as well as an incredible wine cellar. La Galeries des Galeries
The “Galerie des Galeries” is an exhibition space dedicated to art, contemporary fashion and design. It has always been embedded in the store’s DNA to forge a stronger link between culture and commerce. In doing so, Galeries Lafayette has devoted resources and floor space to exhibitions and events to entertain their shoppers. The “Galerie des Galeries” was born.
Our aim is to show talents of today and tomorrow through exhibitions that are often linked to the events in store. The venue hosts four exhibitions each year, and visitors are invited to step into this exclusive space and get an insight into creation through personalized tours tailored for each one of the exhibitions. It is located on the first floor and is open from 11am to 7pm.
The history of Galeries Lafayette
Galeries Lafayette is not just a department store, it is a work of art. Its incredible architecture is a symbol of the Art Nouveau era in Paris. Every Saturday and Sunday, visitors are invited to discover the Galerie’s history during a guided heritage tour.
