“ARTISTIC DIRECTOR PIERPAOLO PICCIOLI TAKES A CREATIVE, CONTEMPORARY APPROACH TO SHAPING THE BRAND’S HERITAGE.”
Founded in 1960, Valentino brings a dazzling touch of Italian elegance to the worlds of Haute Couture and ready-to- wear. Artistic Director Pierpaolo Piccioli takes a creative, contemporary approach to shaping the brand’s heritage, striking a balance between style and subtle rebellion.
As Artistic Director, Piccioli continues to build on the brand’s narrative with the Valentino Garavani accessories line. The range will be on display in a new pop-up at Galeries Lafayette, showcasing one of its most iconic pieces: the Loco bag.
THE LOCO BAG
With its minimalist and vintage aesthetic, Loco is reminiscent of 1990s styling. Inspired by the locomotive, its name is a nod to the flow of urban life. The bag is available in several styles to suit every need: smooth or grained leather, canvas, embroidered, and with or without embellishments.
Ideal for both daytime and evening wear, it can be worn on the shoulder, crossbody or as a handbag with its removable handle. The pop-up will also carry a series of matching accessories styled for the Loco bag, including iPhone cases, earrings, bracelets and belts.
A roundness pop-up
A cylinder-shaped pop-up in warm colors welcomes you porte Mogador. Its rounded shape allows a 360° vision of the collection and the iconic items presented on the glass cases.
