GALERIES LAFAYETTE PARIS HAUSSMANN INVITES AIR FRANCE TO CELEBRATE ITS 90TH ANNIVERSARY🛫

On 7 October 2023, Air France celebrates 90 years of travel, elegance, technology, gastronomy, fashion, architecture and design.

For this very special occasion, the company has chosen to exhibit at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, from 28 September to 10 October 2023, to unveil a collection of 5 iconic dresses designed by Xavier Ronze, french costume designer, head of the costume workshops for the Paris Opera ballet. As a temple of fashion in the heart of Paris, Galeries Lafayette and its 12 window displays will showcase Air France’s finest heritage pieces and the best of the airline, from past to present. A journey through 90 years of in-flight comfort, legendary aircraft, designer uniforms, gastronomy and design.

AIR FRANCE FASHION SHOWS🛫

Throughout this anniversary period, Air France is offering visitors the chance to attend real fashion shows retracing 90 years of French elegance, together with Galeries Lafayette.

Models dressed in the uniforms of pilots, cabin crew, airport staff and mechanics will be on show in a dedicated area of the store to retrace the company’s legendary uniform heritage, past and present. From the very first “barman” outfits to couture pieces signed by the greatest designers such as Christian Dior, Cristóbal Balenciaga and Christian Lacroix, the fashion show is a unique journey into the styles of the different founding eras of Air France.
