Nocturnal glamour as inspiration

Steeped in the glamour and spontaneity of the night, it distills the evening’s most memorable signatures—a vivid lip, a radiating flush across the cheeks, a jet-black flick of liner—into a succinctly edited and sensuous collection. The idea is simple: remarkable results in a single step, intensified pigment, high-performance formulas, and a tightly edited palette with the power to transform in moments.
Founder Michelle Duncan says the brand draws on two eras of nighttime glamour: 1930s Paris, with its Art Deco sophistication, and the frenetic energy of 1980s New York. In each, artists, musicians, writers, fashion designers, and nocturnal types gathered for intimate evenings in private apartments and salons, where conversation and desire flowed freely, and era-defining ideas were born. Atlas Atelier distills their eternal spirits: dressing well, going out, and being seen.
A debut collection curated around essential cosmetics
In this spirit, the debut collection comprises three essential cosmetics, all applied in a flash to the lips, eyes, and cheeks.
- LE MAT (65 €), a stilo matte lipstick, deeply rich and moisturizing, and available in twelve saturated shades (eight reds, four nudes). The after-feel is velvety and the formula is non-drying. The exceptional
- LE BLUSH (60 €), a powder-to-cream formula available in eight shades, glides on in a single swipe, sculpting cheeks with a luminous, couture-level finish and intense color payoff.
- L’EYELINER (35 €), a deep-black and smudge-proof liquid formula, features a precise tip that makes for clean application. It comes in a single shade.
Atlas Atelier pushes against two prevailing beauty ideals: the ascetic restraint of no-makeup makeup beauty and the complex, professional-level artistry required of many expressive, color-forward brands. Its answer is high-performance, expressive luxury cosmetics that are simple to use, designed for real life, and made to allure—whether adorning the face or slipping out of a clutch, their packaging catching the light.
