This holiday season, the most magical of ice rinks is setting up on the rooftop terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, in partnership with Courchevel.
From November 24th 2026, to January 3rd 2027, children and adults are invited to lace up their skates and glide across the most magical backdrop of all: Paris. The perfect opportunity to enjoy a magical moment while taking in the Eiffel Tower lights, the festive illuminations, and the Parisian rooftops. Decorated in the colors of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the ice rink welcomes visitors into a true open-air Christmas fairytale.
For its second edition, Galeries Lafayette partners with Courchevel to mark its 80th anniversary, bringing a unique winter escape right in the heart of Paris.
Since 1946, Courchevel has embodied the excellence of the French mountain lifestyle, blending sport, elegance, and art de vivre. A warm and refined atmosphere to be found at the very top of the capital !
The experience last one hour, including 30 minutes of actual skating.
Open to all Monday to Friday from 12:10 pm to 7:45 pm.
Weekends and weekdays during school holidays :
from 10:10 am to 7:45 pm Monday to Saturday and from 11:10 am to 7:45 pm on Sundays.

Synthetic ice rink. Please do not bring your own skates.
– For safety reasons, access to the ice rink is permitted from 4 years old and up.
– Children aged between 4 and 14 years old (inclusive) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult on the ice rink. Accompanying adults must hold a full-price ticket.
– One accompanying guest (free of charge) is allowed per skater, with access restricted to the terrace only.
– Access to the ice rink is strongly discouraged for pregnant women.
– PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) skating aid is available free of charge upon request (one chair per session).

Cancellation Policy
- Your tickets can be exchanged or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled session. Beyond this deadline, any cancellation will be charged.
- Galeries Lafayette reserve the right to cancel bookings in case of unfavorable weather conditions, or due to any technical, administrative, or safety requirements. In case of cancellation, tickets will be fully and automatically refunded.
Access
- For safety reasons, access to the ice rink is not allowed for children under 4. Galeries Lafayette reserves the right to check proof of age at the entrance.
- Children aged between 4 and 14 (included) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult on the ice rink, facilities, rest areas, changing rooms, and restrooms. Minors remain the responsibility of their parents inside the store and around the premises.
- One accompanying guest (free of charge) is allowed per skater, with access restricted to the terrace only, The “Accompanying Guest” option must be selected during booking. (The companion ticket is included in the skater ticket).
- Access to the ice rink is not recommended for pregnant women.
Equipement
- Wearing gloves is mandatory to access the ice rink.
- Protective helmets for children and adults are available free of charge upon request. Helmet use is mandatory for all children aged 4 to 14 included.
- Galeries Lafayette cannot guarantee the immediate availability of skates in your size.
- Skating aids for children are available free of charge upon request.
- A PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) skating aid is available free of charge upon request (one chair per session).

- Lockers are available for your use. However, as numbers are limited, we cannot guarantee their availability.
