More committed fashion
Promoting more responsible fashion means offering ever more ways to consume fashion differently. We do this first and foremost through our Go for Good selection, both online and in store, which highlights products that have less impact on the environment, support local production or contribute to social development. It also means offering products and services that promote more circular fashion and encouraging young, committed French brands.

For a more circular fashion

For several years now, Galeries Lafayette has been setting up services to make fashion more circular. Collections of clothes, household linen and shoes in partnership with Le Relais, as well as perfume bottles, are offered in all the shops to help you give a second life to your products. And to encourage you to do your bit, you even get 20 loyalty points for each deposit* !
*Limited to one deposit per month per deposit category. Visit your shop’s Services area to find out more about these collection services.
Reducing environmental impact

In a world of finite resources, where mankind’s impact on the environment is ever-increasing, we must work to reduce the environmental impact of our activities to ensure that we are on a sustainable path. This applies to everything we do, from our energy consumption and the impact of our production chain to the packaging, recycling and more responsible end-of-life management of materials and products.
Our solidarity actions

Galeries Lafayette provides long-term support to partner associations working to promote responsible fashion, women’s rights and the fight against poverty – Emmaüs Défi, Fondation des Femmes, Casa 93, Dons Solidaires and Cékedubonheur. The partner associations receive financial support as well as donations of unsold goods (since 2014), solidarity sales and in-store promotions.
Our employees can also commit to helping these associations during their working hours, up to a maximum of two days a year. You can also take advantage of the solidarity rounding up scheme at the checkout to support various associations in their actions.
Diversity and inclusion

People are at the heart of Galeries Lafayette. It is our employees who, every day, embody the ‘department store for everyone’, putting themselves at the service of our customers to meet their expectations ever better. Diversity is a reality at Galeries Lafayette, inclusion a goal and solidarity a necessity in the service of the company’s commitment to society.
