A Collaboration with Centre Pompidou-Metz
This event marks the very first collaboration between Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann and Centre Pompidou-Metz. The project creates an unprecedented dialogue between the museum institution and the iconic department store, affirming that art truly belongs in the spaces of everyday life. Here, art meets a crowd that wasn’t necessarily looking for it—and it is precisely there that a new adventure begins, awakening different layers of memory and new desires.
The POUR TOUJOURS project is an “extramural” (off-site) extension of the exhibition Dimanche sans fin. Maurizio Cattelan and the Centre Pompidou Collection presented in Metz. It transposes a selection of works to Paris, reinventing them through contact with a venue frequented by visitors from all over the world.
An extramural extension of the exhibition Endless Sunday

As partners of Centre Pompidou-Metz and patrons of the exhibition Endless Sunday. Maurizio Cattelan and the Centre Pompidou Collection, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann are delighted to host POUR TOUJOURS, a unique artistic journey within the department store, designed in connection with the exhibition.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Centre Pompidou-Metz invites the public on a breathtaking journey through the history of art and modern thought. This project creates an unprecedented dialogue between the iconic department store and the museum institution, affirming that art also belongs in the spaces of everyday life, at the heart of the city and its vibrant energy. Here, art meets a crowd that wasn’t necessarily looking for it.
From March 10 to April 27, 2026
An Artistic Journey in 4 Highlights
Curated by artist Maurizio Cattelan and Chiara Parisi, Director of Centre Pompidou-Metz, the journey comes to life within the most emblematic locations of the Haussmann store through the works of four major artists:
- Gloria Friedmann: The installation MAMMALIA features a “Mother Earth” sculpted from clay, surrounded by a constellation of animals (deer, wolf, bear) evoking the fragility of life.
- Birgit Jürgenssen: Iconic photographs by this figure of the feminist avant-garde are presented in the wall display cases, ironically subverting the social and domestic roles assigned to women.
- Christodoulos Panayiotou: The sound piece Judy Garland: A Biography superimposes the first and last performances of “Over the Rainbow,” creating a poetic and tragic echo within this transitional space.
- Lawrence Weiner: The bilingual statement AU MÊME MOMENT / AT THE SAME MOMENT plays with the perception of time and emphasizes the importance of language as a sculptural medium.
