Homer Café

Fall for Homer Café: Moïse Sfez's upscale casual American street food concept at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet.

New York-style Street Food

Moïse Sfez brings together at Le Gourmet the best of three of his eateries beloved by foodies: Homer Lobster, Janet, and Maurice Café.

Moïse Sfez made his mark on the culinary scene by launching Homer Lobster in 2017 with its ultra-soft lobster roll, Janet in 2021 with its famous pastrami sandwich, and then Maurice Café in 2024, designed as a modern coffee shop for a quick break. Building on these successes, the chef now reveals Homer Café, a brand-new concept located on the ground floor of Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet.

Every creation relies on artisanal techniques and quality ingredients.

The Menu

For this opening, Moïse Sfez has developed an entirely new menu around recipes that exist nowhere else in the group’s lineup.

The star of the menu? A new generation of sandwiches served in a soft and generous slider-style brioche bun, crafted to be as delicious as they are easy to eat on the go.

On the sweet side, Homer Café expands its universe with a selection of reinvented pastries, toasts, and seasonal creations. This opening also marks the launch of Homer Food Group’s expanding sweet offering, with new recipes set to regularly enrich the menu.

Coffee lovers will find the same high standards that made Maurice Café a success: specialty coffees, Freddo Cappuccino, Einspänner, Vanilla Matcha Latte, Chai Latte, as well as fresh juices, lemonades, and made-to-order smoothies.

A True Gathering Spot

Much more than a simple coffee shop, Homer Café was designed as a place to stop by any time of day: for a specialty coffee, a delicious breakfast, a quick lunch, an afternoon snack, or a casual dinner. Homer Café caters to neighborhood regulars and Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet visitors alike.

With this new location, Moïse Sfez continues to grow Homer Food Group while asserting an increasingly creative, accessible, and resolutely contemporary vision of dining.

An alumnus of the Vatel hospitality school, Moïse Sfez developed an early passion for New York’s Jewish culinary culture. In 2017, he shook up the Paris scene by founding Homer Lobster, making lobster accessible with his iconic Lobster Roll.

This bold move earned him international recognition when he was crowned World Lobster Roll Champion at the Maine Lobster Festival in 2018. A visionary and perfectionist entrepreneur, he relies on exceptional sourcing and a strong visual identity to build a true luxury street-food empire.
